As first voiced by J.P. Morgan more than a century ago, we wish to do, “first class business in a first class way”.  We don’t believe economics is a zero-sum game.  By focusing on new opportunities in the right fields, we believe that we can make our shareholders wealthy, reward our employees, do our part to grow the economy, improve the quality of merchandise and service experience of our customers, and pay ever-increasing taxes to fund the needs of a developed nation.  Our demonstrated leadership in the area of supply chain efficiencies by partnering with the right vendors is a great example of how everyone can win.  Some of our businesses even include a built-in charitable component by donating a percentage of operating profits to foundations complimentary to the mission of the company.
